More supplies being sent to missionaries

Hello again everybody, sorry it has been a couple of months since the last update. We have been very busy gathering supplies for missionaries, loading containers as well as running the Resource Thrift Store. We had another container go to Haiti, one being loaded now and a couple hundred pounds of supplies to the Amazon Reach mission. I want to personally thank everybody involved in the gathering, packing, loading and transporting of all the supplies. Not only those here, but to all those who have a hand in unloading and distributing of the goods sent, thank you. God has been continually blessing the Thrift store. More and more, we have been getting in beds and furniture that goes out as fast as we can bring it in. Donations are up and we have volunteers starting to show up to help both in the store as well as doing pick ups and deliveries. Again, Thanks to everyone who makes all this possible. May God bless each and everyone for your cheerful hearts in giving of your time and talents to help us succeed.

Our 1 year anniversary

Hello again. It has been just about a year now since i was asked to come back and take the position of Director of Missionary Resource Network. My wife Vicki has taken the position of manager, and has been doing a great job running the Resource Thrift store. We are gearing up for our 1 year anniversary back in the ministry. We are planning a store wide sale of 30% off on June 1st. If you are in the area, come in and mention this and recieve an extra 20% making a total of 50% off your purchase. In the past year we have helped with 2 containers to Haiti, supplies to missionaries in Brazil, helping move a missionary family to Columbia, and even went on a missions trip to Haiti. We could also use your continued prayer support for the ministry as well as for those still devestated in Haiti and Chile from the earthquakes. Ministry in Motion

Thank you once again for your prayers and support. We are loading another container for relief in Haiti. We were blessed with a generous donation of 18 pallets of tarps from a local company, 52,000 Bible tracts in French from our friends at Sowers of Seed and their supporters that made it possible for them to print, 7 pallets of food from our faithful supporters here at MRN. With the help from the team at Haiti’s Hope we will be shipping the second container this week. Please pray for those still suffering from the effects of the earthquake in Haiti as well as those in Chile. With the love of Christ being shown first, the words of Christ will be more powerful and many will be saved through this tragedy. God has also been blessing the ministry thrift store in ways that i can’t explain. Praises to His Holy Name. Helping Haiti

We here at MRN would like to help you help those in Haiti. We work alongside of Haiti’s Hope and would like to encourage you to go to their website www.haitishope.org for info on what you can do to help those in Haiti in the aftermath of the this great tragedy. I am going to go out on a limb and ask that as you consider what supplies to donate for shipping, to also consider the cost of doing so. 100% of financial donations will be used to get the supplies needed and shipped to Haiti during their time of need. We will continue to be in prayer with those of you who have loved ones in Haiti. Moving Forward

We continue to move forward as we try to recover from the bad management decisions on behalf of the last director. Since retaking over the Missionary Resource Network and the Resource Thrift Store in June, things are showing signs of improvement. i was brought in to shut down the thrift store before our lease was up, but God had other plans and has definitely done a great work. We are pleased to see many of the old customers coming back and bringing their friends with them. If you visit our store, let us know you read this article and recieve 30% off you purchase.

While the store is shaping up, the Ministry is still lacking. We have lost many of the supporters that the ministry had. i greatly appreciate those faithful few who still remain and support the ministry. i would like to ask you once again to prayfully consider supporting the Missionary Resource Network so we can start the work of loading and shipping containers as we had in the past. i would also like to ask you to join me in prayer for volunteers to come along side and help us here at the store. i have had to turn down donation pickups because i am alone most of the time and also have been turned down from doing pickups because i show up alone. Though i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, when it comes to moving things down stairs, common sense kicks in and i have to leave empty handed.

Lastly, as i try to help out a missionary who left me with some furniture to sell for his support, if you know anyone in the South Florida area looking for a queen bedroom set, i have an awesome looking one here for sale. You can check out the pictures in the Thrift Store category on the right side of this page. The bedroom set includes a Double pillowtop Stearns and Foster Boxspring and Mattress, headboard, footboard, sideboards, support slats with individual levelers, dresser w/mirror and nightstand. We are asking $1500.00 for the set and it is well worth it.
